Cary M. Silverman, M.D. is the Medical Director of EyeCare 20/20, the first practice in New Jersey to offer the ALLEGRETTO WAVE™ with Perfect Pulse Technology.

Dr. Silverman is one of a handful of ophthalmologists in the state who specializes in LASIK surgery for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Cited as one of the New York Metro Area's Best Doctors (1998-2008), Dr. Silverman has performed thousands of LASIK surgeries to date.

Dr. Silverman has been featured in a variety of publications, including USA Today, The Associated Press, The New York Times, Hemisphere's Magazine, Fit Magazine, Teen Vogue, Woman’s World, Weight Watchers Magazine, The Globe, The Star Ledger, and the Daily Record. He's been a guest ophthalmologist for the Health Network, a channel dedicated strictly to health and fitness, and has participated in numerous on-line events.

Dr. Silverman received his M.D. from the New Jersey Medical School in 1982 and his BA in Biology from Boston University (cum laude) in 1978. His hobbies include mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving, and playing squash.
